Trap Shooting

-
The day after Thanksgiving was so beautiful, I wanted to do something different for my visiting sister, brother-in-law, and nephew. So we headed over to the PG County Trap and Skeet Center and fired shotguns for an hour. Better than the mall, for sure.

Zinc for Colds

-
I got a cold on Friday, and on Saturday picked up some throat lozenges with zinc in them. The research says a hefty dose of zinc near the beginning of a cold can reduce its duration by 40%. I gobbled them down and woke up feeling much better on Sunday. It's very unusual for me to feel better this quickly, and I called my pharmacist sister to talk about it. She says she's a 100% believer in zinc for colds.

So stock up on those zinc lozenges or supplements now, before you even get a cold. The ones I got were blueberry flavored and really delish.

Another Shout-Out for the Cheap

-
Here's another stellar cosmetic product:  e.l.f.'s tinted moisturizer. It's my favorite tinted moisturizer, and I've tried many. The bottle doesn't contain tons of product, but dude . . . it's 3 bucks.
