And let me know your thoughts on Red Riding--I only saw the first two, but I found them very striking ... and a bit hard to follow. Thankfully I had some helpful narration from my beau!
I thought the first one in particular was great. Andrew Garfield is such a talent. I liked the 2nd one pretty well and the 3rd one just okay. But I definitely do not have the plot 100% worked out, so maybe you and Deb can walk me through it next book club.
SO glad you've seen these. i thought they were fantastic. and i agree that the first one was the strongest.
did you know that andrew garfield is both an american citizen and limey? true story.
