Jay's Kidney Trauma

-
Jay continues to be plagued with kidney stone troubles. He's been in pain for most of the past month. The doctor zapped one of them yesterday, but he's feeling only slightly better. Part of the problem can be seen in the x-ray below which shows the stone on his left side.

Isn't that El Capitan from Yosemite? Well, if you have to have a stone, you might as well have the best around. Jay, if Mom were here, she'd say drink more vinegar! Sally

Poor Jay! Kidney stones are beastly things. I hope they can zap him back into feeling better.

Good call, Sal! It IS El Capitan---the biggest chunk of granite in the world.

Jay, so sorry to hear from Lynn of your kidney stone trials. My utmost sympathy. My mom would recommend lots of cranberry juice (tastes a lot better than vinegar). Is this the first time round with kidney stones. Both of mine occurred on April Fool's day (separated by 9 years).

Jay's all, "MY kidney stone's biggest. *I* have an ailment in the shape of a major national attraction. ME, Me, me."

I know, it's so tiresome. Of course, it's doesn't really sound like "Me, me, me!" It sounds more like " . . . uuuuuuuuggghhhh . . . heelllpppp meeeee." Still, there's a "me" in it.
