Kristen Stewart: 'Snow White' with Viggo Mortensen?
Kristen Stewart is in talks to play the title role in Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman, according to Deadline.
Word is also circulating that Viggo Mortensen is up for the role of the Huntsman in the flick!
Kristen’s former The Runaways co-star Riley Keough was placed on the shortlist of ladies up for the role last month.
Charlize Theron is already confirmed to play the Evil Queen in the film!

oh, SUCH great casting. only i'm not sold on charlize. SWINTON! would be perfect, but perhaps they want a just-on-the-wrong-side-of-dewy actress. hmm. reese is able to be evil with a veneer, but i wonder if she could Bring It in this film. who else? who else . . .
I'm kind of liking Charlize Theron for this. She was with Viggo in The Road, so maybe that will encourage him to take the part/be offered the part. I really like this updated-gothic-fairytle trend. I wonder if there will be a prince or whether the part will be prince/woodsman.
i HOPE it's not prince/woodsman, only because a kristen/vigo pairing would be horrifying. there are certain divides that even hollywood shouldn't dare to bridge. and that kind of age gap is one of them.
i'll see the road before pooh-pooing chuck theron further. (or at least i'll say i will.)
i, too, adore this modernization. austen's had her run, shakespeare has been all over this for centuries. let's give the grimms and their BFFs a shot at movie re-imagination heaven.
